MailCura uses only the information needed to provide, secure and improve the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
MailCura prepares drafts. You decide what to edit, copy, share or send.
Your writing request is processed to generate or refine the draft you ask for.
We receive purchase and entitlement records, not your full card details.
We do not build advertising profiles or sell your activity to advertisers.

2. Personal data we collect
The information we process depends on how you use MailCura.
- Account and identity data: email address, display name, account identifier and sign-in provider information when you use email, Apple or Google sign-in.
- Writing and profile content: prompts, drafts, template selections, profile values, preferred language and writing settings you choose to save.
- Purchase and entitlement data: product identifiers, subscription status, transaction references, renewal, cancellation and refund events supplied by the app store or purchase-management provider. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Technical and security data: device platform, app version, approximate network information, timestamps, diagnostic events and logs needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
- Support data: information you provide when contacting us, including the content of your request and any files or screenshots you choose to send.
The promotional website does not use advertising cookies. A hosting provider may create basic server logs for security and reliable delivery.
3. How and why we use personal data
We process personal data for the following purposes and lawful bases:
- To provide the service and perform our contract: create and manage accounts, generate drafts, save preferences, synchronise content, apply credits and manage subscriptions.
- For our legitimate interests: protect accounts, prevent fraud and misuse, diagnose faults, understand service reliability and improve MailCura without overriding your rights.
- To meet legal obligations: keep required financial or transaction records, respond to lawful requests and comply with applicable law.
- With consent where required: use optional device permissions or send optional communications that you have actively chosen.
We do not use MailCura content to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. AI-assisted writing
When you request a draft, rewrite, translation or review, the relevant text and instructions are sent to an AI service provider so that MailCura can produce the requested result. Only include information that is necessary for the writing task.
Avoid highly sensitive information where possible. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, medical records or confidential information you are not authorised to process.
AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. MailCura does not send messages automatically; you are responsible for reviewing the final wording before using it.
6. International data transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations, approved contractual clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including:
- account and saved-content data while your account remains active or until you delete it;
- transaction and accounting records for periods required by law;
- security, diagnostic and support records for a proportionate period needed to resolve issues, prevent abuse and establish legal claims.
Deletion from live systems may not remove information immediately from encrypted backups. Backup copies are isolated and removed through normal retention cycles.
8. Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, authenticated services, secure transport and restricted operational access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your device, sign-in credentials and account access secure.
9. Your data-protection rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Email info@dynasoft.co.uk to make a rights request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
10. Children
MailCura is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data through the service.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when MailCura, our providers or applicable law changes. We will publish the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where a change materially affects your rights.
12. Contact and account deletion
For privacy questions or rights requests, email info@dynasoft.co.uk. To request account deletion, use the in-app account controls or visit the account deletion page.
